Tools and Equipment: Covers the identification, proper usage, and maintenance of cookware materials (aluminum, stainless steel, cast iron) and kitchen appliances.
Knife Skills: Teaches precision handling and fundamental culinary cuts (such as julienne, brunoise, and batonnet) to ensure uniform cooking.
Mise en Place: Emphasizes the strategic assembling, measuring, and preparation of ingredients before active cooking begins.
Basic Cooking Methods: Introduces dry-heat and moist-heat cooking techniques alongside flavor combinations and the creation of the five mother sauces, stocks, and soups.
