Moodle Training for 2026

All MAQ takers are required to take the pre-assessment exam. All participants who passed the pre-assessment will be able to directly take the MAQ program or else they may undergo the Moodle Training for Site Administrators before undergoing the MAQ. 

This 16-hour Moodle training course is intended for aspiring and current LMS Administrators with a background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, ICT, Educational Technology, and other related studies. Throughout seven modules, participants will delve into seven detailed modules covering the core features, functionalities, efficient course management, handling user management and enrollment, role assignment, customizing site appearance,  plugin utilization, and exploring security settings and reporting tools to ensure a safe and efficient learning environment.

This basic level course will give you  an understanding of what AI can offer course teachers. You'll learn how to craft effective prompts with generative AI tools including ChatGPT to help you enhance your Moodle courses. You'll also explore the ethical issues related to AI in education.

In this basic course you will learn:

• What AI and specifically generative AI is;
• How to write effective AI prompts for tools such as Chat GPT;
• How you can use AI to enhance your Moodle courses.
• How you and your learners can use AI responsibly.

This 16-hour full online training course will focus on developing interactive content using different H5P Content Types and be integrated into their Learning Management System. For educators, course creators, content or multimedia developers, LMS administrators, and those who will be developing course content using H5P.

This training course is designed for educators, trainers, LMS Administrators, and those who have basic or advanced knowledge about the Moodle Learning Management System. This training course will be focused on Moodle Grading and setting up your Moodle gradebook for your courses. 

The Instructional Design in Moodle Training is designed for educators, course creators and those who are developing course content for their Learning Management System (LMS). This training underlines the process of designing effective and efficient instructions for an online course.

This 16-hour Moodle training course is designed to equip educators, course creators, and instructional designers with the essential skills to effectively use the Moodle platform in course management. Participants will explore Moodle’s core features throughout six modules, including course creation, activity setup, assessment tools, and progress tracking. They will also learn how to integrate communication and collaboration tools, apply gamification strategies, and optimize courses for mobile devices.
