Beyond the Video Call: How BigBlueButton Builds Real Classroom Online

This course introduces BigBlueButton (BBB), an open-source web conferencing system built specifically for online learning. Through a live demonstration, participants will explore BBB's core features including real-time video and audio, interactive whiteboards, screen sharing, breakout rooms, polling, and session recording all directly integrated within Moodle. By the end of this session, participants will understand how BigBlueButton can be used to conduct live classes, host virtual office hours, and facilitate collaborative group work, and will see firsthand how it fits into the Moodle learning environment.
