The Participants are able to:
- To understand the theoritical and philosophical foundations of PDET approach
- To understand the PDET conceptual framework
- To be familiar with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and its relevance to education and to PDET
- To acquire knowledge of child and adolescent development as it relates to students' learning and behaviour
- To acquire knowledge of individual differences as they relate to students' learning and behaviour
- To acquire skills in applying the PDET framewrok to common teacher-student conflicts
- To acquire skills in communicating the PDET approach to others
- To create a plan for implementing PDET locally
