9. Competency in LMS Feature

 

Course Description:

This 6-hour Moodle training course is intended for aspiring and current LMS Administrators with a background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, ICT, Educational Technology, and other related studies. Throughout seven modules, participants will delve into six detailed modules covering the core features, functionalities, efficient course management, handling user management and enrollment, role assignment, customizing site appearance,  plugin utilization, and exploring security settings and reporting tools to ensure a safe and efficient learning environment.

General Objectives:

At the end of the course, participants should be able to;

  1. Explain the concept of competencies in Moodle
  2. Identify key LMS features that support competency-based learning
  3. Set up a basic competency framework in Moodle
  4. Map competencies to course activities
  5. Track and assess learner competency progression.
  6. Evaluate learner achievement using competency-based evidence.

Methodologies

 

Prior to the Training

To be fully prepared for the training, please remember to bring your laptop.

Guidelines:

  • A total of  6 hrs of training to complete the course. 
  • The participants are enrolled for 3 months and required to take the lesson, submit the design challenge, answer the assessment, and accomplish other similar activities to acquire the certificate of completion. 
  • The Participants will receive a calendar invitation before the webinar schedule.

Mode of Delivery:

 A two-day session with discussions and demonstrations guided by Moodle experts. Two options are available;

  1. Face-to-Face Training
  2. Self-Paced Training (Fully Online)
